We loved Munnar, it was our favourite part of India, and this was a nice place to stay there. We felt very welcome by Joseph and his team. At the time, we were the only guests staying there, and we felt very safe and well attended to. The building itself is quite beautiful, but the view you wake up to... More

This was a great place to finish our holiday, as an end of holiday treat we spent more than we did elsewhere but we are glad we did. Joseph and his family are super friendly. He showed us around the plantation, we met his wife (amazing flowers) and we helped with some of cooking (rolling chapatis). The view is simply... More

Me and my wife in Kollenkeril for a couple of nights in late March and thoroughly enjoyed it. The property itself is wonderful and has some spectacular views. Joseph and his staff were exceptional. It's also conveniently located, so exploring the Munnar was fairly easy. The best part was that we were the only guests.

Warm welcome, comfortable rustic rooms, excellent home cooked food and superb views. This area is very beautiful and the terrace is a perfect spot to enjoy the scenery, the birds and the spice garden. Mr Joey is very keen for guests to learn about the plantation and to sample as much as possible of the local food. We were booked... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in February as part of a tour organised by Musafir tours. Another couple stayed the first night and we were on our own the second night. We were made welcome by Mr Joey and went on the garden tour on the second day. The scenery is spectacular particulalry from the tree house. The situation... More

My wife and I paid for 2 nights in advance for this 5 star rated by property on TA and left after 1 night. We could not believe that this property is getting a better rating than some of the best hotels in the world on TA. It seems that TA contributors are not being objective in home stay ratings...if... This plantation home stay is situated about 8km outside of Munnar, it is located on a hill within its own cardamom, coffee plantation. It is bookable only through Musafir tours (highly recommended) and one other, not certain of their name. The views are absolutely stunning looking out into the Western Ghats. Everything is in harmony with nature including the fittings.... More

We stayed 2 nights here between Cochin and Munnar. What a beautiful location. We were welcomed by Joseph and made to feel very welcome with a glass of lime and ginger. We had a lovely walk around the plantation with Joseph explaining all the plants to us. Dinner was a simple meal of local cuisine. Breakfast the same and Joseph... More

We stayed for 3 nights in November as part of of an excellent tour arranged by Musafir tours. Our accommodation was in one of the bungalows which gave more privacy than staying in the main house which we preferred. It was simply furnished, a good size and clean (you had remember to switch on the water heater otherwise you had... More
