We stayed there for 2 days. The place is very good and clean. I made the reservation and spoke to uncle before arriving. He guided me also throughout the way to reach Munnar. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hospitality.

This was the 4th home stay we visited in Kerala and the only one we did not enjoy. The review of August 28, 2012 from Utrecht perfectly describes our experience at this place. The overall feeling was disquieting, and we were all relieved when our 2 nights were finished and we could depart.

This home stay was ok for two nights. The facilities were only ok. The rooms were not so clean, and they weren't cleaned during our stay. We had some ants and in general I didn't feel comfortable. The hosts are very nice and friendly people, but somehow too intruding and imposing. I don't think I would come back.

It was an excellent experience in misty homes. Semi-independent bungalow, where the owner stays in the ground/basement, and the floor above is totally yours if you rent it, having 2 double bedrooms with attached bath, 1 single bedroom, a hall, a balcony and another sitout. Facilities - OK. Shower did not work so we took a bucket bath. Ants in the room spoilt some food. No AC. Food - OK. The owner charges money for tea, coffee, and all meals. We stayed there 3 days ,It is a verry good experience with Mr Thankappan Uncle & Kunjumole aunty.We really enjoyed there home away from home.We enjoy the really taste of homely food prepaired by aunty like our mother.So we thanks to them in the name of god.We really miss them...

We stayed for 3 nights at Misty Homes and loved it. Great value for money, very warm hospitality, and keralean food as it should be. A great atmosphere, and we loved sitting in the shade, looking at the mountains. A peaceful relaxing stay, thank you.

This is my second stay in Misty Homes and the comfort, homely care and satisfaction we had is splendid. Very economical, neat and well maintained. Thank you Aunty for all the traditional Kearala foods that you served. We loved it and hope you can cook it for us during our next visit as well :)
