I had high hopes for this place after having been told about it. The island itself is beautiful however the accomodation I wouldn’t ever stay at again. We had a waterfront villa with a killer view, no complaints there. However that’s where the positivity ends, from paper thin walls which you can hear every single thing from your neighbours to rock hard beds and pillows that after a week here will need chiropractic adjustment when I get home - sleeping on the wooden deck out the front would have been just as comfortable. Good luck getting any sleep on a weekend, with music absolutely pumping and carrying on going on late into the night and following morning - it finally stopped at 2am. For accommodation that has a lot of families and kids here that’s f*****g ridiculous. All in all, beautiful location and friendly people for the most part but if you’re not here for diving I’d give it a miss.

The Resort has had major upgrade. You'd realize some rooms looks new and some a little run-down. We took two rooms, SV7 & SV8. If travelling with family and/or friends, it should be fine but if you're only booking one room, note that you will be sharing your verandah with your direct neighbour. There is a little partition in between, but the next room can simply walk into your verandah. Best is to book with friends/family so sharing of verandah wouldn't be an issue. Water pressure wasn't good. Should improvise on that. We ended up bathing using the bidet instead of the shower because the pressure was good (bidet). The aircond is new but was faulty. The technicians from the resort fixed it for us immediately. Food served was tasty and good. Ordering extra food was reasonably priced. Not expensive at all. The resort has lots of cats and kittens. If you're planning to stay here, may I humbly ask that you bring some food for the cats? They seemed pretty hungry all the time. 😻😻

Not worth at all... either to stay in or only restaurant, really not worth it.. also the staff very rude... not strategic also coz the beach in front not suitable for swimming.. better to choose others, still a lot more in walking distance ie: salang sayang, salang pusaka, etc. Salang Dream for me the best restaurant here with good price, tasty n great service.. Definitely will blacklist this Salang Indah..

Me and my family really love this resort, no corals in the beachfront but lots of colourful fish. Restaurant food not taste really good but not bad. Our room RT1 is very clean and nice, just lack of water pipes. Overall this resort is great. Nearby jetty and lots of shop and restaurant.

Booked here as the other resorts were full. When we entered the room there was a damp smell that probably came from the carpets. The room looked straight out of a 60s. The bathroom sink looked dirty, and the water heater had on and off hot water. The room seemed like it hadnt been used in a long while. The only good thing was they provided clean towels and the aircond was working well. Other than that, i would suggest for you to not book here if you have any other choice.

We took the water taxi from Tekek to Salang with this company for RM50 and the AC room with RM150 a night. Towels are provided, really hard pillows to sleep with and unfortunately mosquitoes fly in all directions to the room . It has many restaurants nearby and the nearer it is to the jetty, the pricier it is. BBQ is available all nights. Alcohol is being sold at a travel agency when you turn right from the jetty, the only place on Salang beach, the Malay restaurant next to it would not mind if you drink them at their premise.

Visited to have lunch and dinner while my stay at Salang Bay. The restaurant is pretty nice and looks neat and clean. Their prices is also not very high as compared to other restaurants and quantity of food you receive is a lot. But when it comes to taste it's not really good after eating at other places located within the bay.

Booked 2 seaview rooms (supposed to be the most expensive). Some of the not so nice discovery are : 1. Ants in the room, 2. Air cond in 1 room was not working & requested for technician but never turn up till we checked out!. Luckily we discovered its the remort control fault. Wash bash tap was spoilt with water dripping and water cannot be drained from the basin. The rain shower stall was also spoilt. Pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Will definitely avoid this resort next time.

Initially, I got the 4 person, standard sea view chalet for RM190 (School Holiday). However, the cabinet was creaking from the shaking of the wooden floor, the toilet floor was brown and unwashed, the toilet drain pump was not working, the sink tap was broken, the aircon was leaking water, the wooden planks on the floor had holes and the lock was not even working! I went back to the reception to ask for a new room, and they offered an upgrade (RM350 per night) to the garden view quad room, which had far better conditions. See pictures for the new room. This room looked newly built and thus had far better conditions. Furthermore, as it was only slightly higher up than the sea view chalet, we had a good view of the sea whilst having the comfort of a newly built room, so that was excellent.
