We stayed in Hotel Seafront for one night. The location was good. Near te foodmarket and the sea .The hotelroom was average. The mattress was good, shower ok. There was a smell in the room (I think moist carpet or something). Including a simple breakfast. We payed 75 myr, so that's was a good price for what we got.

Really great value hotel with clean airconditioned rooms, comfy beds and decent bathrooms. There are taxis right out the front and it's just a short walk into the waterfront restaurants. It's a bit of a hike up the stairs if you're on the top floor, but otherwise great.

As a rule I very rarely complain but our experience at Hotel Seafront was so bad that I feel I have to warn other travellers. Even though this hotel is relatively cheap, the service is so poor that it should down grade itself to a hostel. On arrival noone offered to help with our bags even though we were on... More

A very basic place with no frills. They have free wifi but the connection was not good. Laundry ervice a plus. Staff helpful in general. Breakfast was not good.

The place looked generally clean however our room was infested with cockroaches, to the point that they were even in our backpacks. Fortunately we moved rooms and the other was better although it still wasn't all that clean. Not usually that fussy about places, but not a fan of this place! The location is not very good, not much around... More

After much searching for a nice, clean, budget hotel in Sandakan which there seem to be a lack of! I came across this little gem recommended on a forum. Its a fairly new modern hotel about a block back from the sea front. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable with TV and aircon and double glazed windows to keep... More
