Stayed here for 1 night while hiking Machu Picchu. The hotel is in an odd location but once you find out where you actually are, it is within walking distance to everything you need. The river roars right next to the hotel, which you can hear from the room. Not a bad thing however! The room was beautiful and big.... More

This is just what the doctor ordered after a very physical day climbing Machu Picchu!. The views of the raging river from our windows on the 3rd floor were fantastic plus it was like having our own soothing sound machine for sleeping. The room and bathroom were very large and clean, with nice toiletries provided. There were free computers and... More

I stayed at this hotel with my mother and my sister after a days sight seeing at Machu Picchu. Our first impressions were that it was a hotel that could do with some tlc as it was a bit rough around the edges. Our room was on the 1st floor with spectacular views out to the crashing river rushing down... More

Stayed here overnight after visiting Machu Picchu. The accommodation included dinner in the restaurant, and I had the opportunity of choosing from the menu at the time I checked in so that it would be ready at the time I nomionated for dinner. The staff was friendly, the room clean and a good size, and the meal was great, as... More

We spent 2 nights here during our visit to Machu Picchu. The food was good, the shower had great pressure and the toiletries were fantastic. It was just what we needed after a day on Machu Picchu, and has a great view of the river. More

Nice, apparently new facility. Excellent, friendly service. WiFi didn't work in room but in some locations in the hall. Food was good. Room was not very clean. Plumbing issues appear to be normal in Peruvian hotels, but this one had multiple issues and there was nobody willing and/or able to fix them. We know Aguas Calientes is small and there... More

We spent the night here after doing our Machu Picchu visit. We were dropped off with about an hour of light left and the room we had was beautiful, with a large balcony over looking the Urubamba river surrounded by mountains on all sides. Check in was easy with complimentary drinks and a "gourmet" dinner. Avoid the gourmet dinner. Instead,... More

Great food, good service, comfortable room, free Pisco Sour on arrival. The closest hotel to the trail if you are climbing up the mountain. On the Urubamba River. Also close to the buses. Of course, all of Aquas Calientes is within walking distance as well. More
