A nice quiet place to stay, can arrange the tours and everything from the hostel which was nice and easy. The rooms are allright only thing thats a bit bad are the beds, they should be replaced because they are over used, u roll in to the middle in sink down more or less. The restaurant are good and the... More

Eight bed dorms are only 15soles per night. Big rooms with enough space for big bags. Each person gets a safe which is great for belongings. Bathrooms are clean, toilet paper provided. Food is delicious and includes all the things you have been missing on your travels! Staff and really fun and friendly. Overall a great budget place to stay;... More

The staff here really make it what it is. We came for one night and stayed for 3, then came back a fortnight later and stayed again! The guys who wait on tables in the restaurant make you feel at home, and whilst we're on the subject, the food here was delicious (if a little pricey). Because of the lack... More

We stayed only one night, but this village and hostel were really great! Veery clean (cleaning lady came 3-4 times that day), hot showers, comfy beds, really friendly staff & the food in their restaurant was really good as well - big portions and a lot of variety from breakfast till evening!

Desert Nights provides cheap dorms and a good restaurant in a really nice old colonial building. I think the woman who runs the place is American so if you don't speak much spanish it's not a problem. We stayed 2 nights in an 8-bed dorm and whilst I can't really complain too much I have to say that the room... More

Desert NIghts is a decent hostel, quite cheap for dorms (15 Soles). Bedding was cozy (it gets cold at night in Huacachina) and the staff are friendly. decent wi-fi, hot water showers and the food in the restaurant is pretty good too (and super fast!) Tour desk has good prices and good info on getting other places Only complaint is... More

Desert Nights is a clean, well staffed hostel with a really good restaurant attached to it. Great drink specials during happy hour, plus a comfortable living room area where hostel dwellers can relax and watch an assortment of DVDs. Bonus: there are multiple computers available for use, as well as Wi-Fi.

Christie, owner of this Hostel and accompanying tourist company, runs a really nice hostel with safe lock-ups, clean amenities, very friendly atmosphere, cheap sandboarding rentals, great restaurant. Although, for some of her trips she's just a broker and prices can be found lower around Huacachina (f.e. Ballestas), I still recommend her assistance and her services. She works hard to keep... The cheapest dorm rooms in Huacachina can be found at Desert Nights, though they are also clean and spacious. A cleaner in the bathroom and communal areas was a common figure during my stay: a rare sight in many hostels I've stayed in! There were only a couple of showers and toilets for the dorms to share, though I never... More
