Well located guesthouse around the lake. The school below, the monkeys all around and the employees give a lively and warm atmosphere to this place. The essentials (sheets, sink, toilets) are clean but the whole place seems to have stayed as it was 30 years ago ! Lot of dust, grime and mold. This place just need a big sprig...

Very close to town, can walk. Can ask for breakfast. Really enjoyed. Cleaned washroom. We couldn't get a hotel the day we were in Kandy. A friend gave the # to the Lake bungalow. Thats the only way to book this place. They don't give locals. The owner is a very nice lady. I loved it. Will recomend to others
If arriving by bus or rail you'll need a tuk tuk to get there, because lake Bungalow id about 1km from the bus or the railway station.
