We checked out hotels along this roadbefore choosing this one. The rooms are simple, but bright and comfortable. Excellent shower/bathroom - recently installed. Very relaxing airy public room to sit. look at interesting views (with part of the lake!!) Internet access works well. Extremely friendly hosts who were very helpful and informative. Highly recommended as a base for Kandy.

The personnel was bordering to rude, hard to get answers or service. Seldom been treated as badly. The room was equipped with bare minimum, two beds one metal chair, the bathroom door had a gaping hole instead of a handle. The bed sheets were stained. Need I go on?

Strangely named guesthouse as it doesn't have lake views. However the views were gorgeous, and being up on the hill is a definite plus - way better than being in central Kandy, even if near the lake, as the town is hectic, traffic and noisy. The rooms are in excellent condition. The services provided by the hotel staff are too excellent and commendable, You get a great view from the hotel. The foods are delicious and tasty. You get value for the money you spend.

The rooms are basic but clean. Some have a/c but it is barely needed in the cool climate of Kandy. An establishment run by the same family for 40 years. Very good people and nice views. Really good food too. A very good guesthouse located on a road above the sometimes loud city.
