Kandy was just what we wanted, cool, pretty, interesting and easy to travel to/from. From Nature Walk you can go down the hill into the busy town for shopping or food or walk along the pleasant lake shore. If you want a quieter stay outside Kandy town centre, this is a perfect option. The food is good (ask them to go easy on the salt though) and the staff are really accommodating. It is basic, but clean, the Internet is variable (but free) and you will possibly get woken by monkeys playing on your balcony
