We stayed here while in Kandy and were unlucky enough to have very bad weather at this time which did not show the hotel at it's best. The views here were superb even with the bad weather. The friendly staff, good food, lovely setting and clean room were positives but disappointing to find tired bathroom. Recommended but bathroom needs updating.... More

The Villa Rosa is quite possibly unique. The most relaxed atmosphere, excellent unobtrusive service, and a position which made getting up early a total delight. Villa Rosa in Kandy is clearly an extaordinary peaceful place in the suburbs of Kandy. Its view to the river, the garden but also the personnel is a delight. At the same time you need to bare in mind that it is a 15 min Tuc Tuc ride to the city center - which you are ok with or not.... More
