A beautiful place with a spectacular view! I don't know whether I'd credit the hotel or the city itself but the hotel has got a great view of a nearby lake surrounded by greenery and mountains - it couldn't get more scenic! This place was very nice to stay but it was too far fromt he city centre. It took us almost an hr and hour to find this place. The day we reached was Christmas eve and the restaurent had onyl a buffet which costed 1000 LKR and as we wanted an alacarte menu, they denied to provide us with one.... More

The rooms (2) were clean enough for sri lankan standards, though you'd expect more for roughly 90 dollars/night (halfboard). There's a small balcony with a nice view. Not walking distance from anywhwere, but a well maintained hotel in a great elevated position, near a giant Buddha. Service and food was excellent. The rooms were spacious and pleasant.
