The staff was helpful and available 24 hours a day/night, which is not common in Bocas Town, however with that comes the noise from overnight staffers watching loud movies all night long, noise from main street, and strangers coming into the rooms to fornicate with dormmates. We stayed in dorms here in February as we couldn't get a double room anywhere - we arrived quite late to the island after a long border crossing. The dorm room had 6 beds and lockers but no plugs to charge anything in. The lights were above the top bunk so only one person could really turn them on and... More

The Staff are very nice and helpful. Location is great. Near of everything. Open kitchen is a such a big plus and clean. You can have a pancakes and coffee for free for breakfast. ;-) Ambience is so good. I Stayed 5 nights and if i ever go back to Isla Colon, i would stay in Tungara again. I recommend.
