At first glance, you might ask yourself if you want to stay here. After I took a minute, I realized the answer is "Yes." It would be a mistake for anyone to think anything negative about the location. The owners have spent a great deal of time refurbishing an older motel. They did a good job. It's like going back... I had a family emergency and had to haul down to Clanton, AL for a one night stay. I work in a hotel myself, and even with my corporate discount, it was still out of my price range, so I decided to try the Scottish Inn. It was very convenient to the interstate, and to what I had to be... More

Nice, clean and comfortable. Small fee for pets. Very nice staff and great value. Just 40 miles north of Montgomery, only a short distance from I-65 exit 205. Fast food restaurants close by and also a Walmart for shopping...

Had a nice overnight stay. Courteous staff, friendly surroundings, clean room, pet friendly and reasonable rates. Can't ask for anything more. We would highly recommend you staying here. Indiana couple and dog on way to Florida.

We stayed here the night after a stop at an awful Motel 6. The difference was night and day. Very clean and updated, quiet, and safe. As another reviewer mentioned, Peach Park is across the street and is a must-stop. Glad to know places like this still exist!

This hotel doesn't look like much, but it's clean and has everything you need for a comfy night. We arrived as weary travelers late at night. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - ensuring that we had exactly what we needed at a great price. We were on our way to FL when we stopped - we liked it... More

The place was clean and was just fine for an overnight stay. The place is a little old and rundown but it was clean. Clanton is the perfect stop for out drive to Florida from Indiana. We stayed at the Days Inn last year and we were very grossed out. We will probably stay here again next year.

Newly renovated. Just been painted, all the amenities, everything works, spotless. A pool with lawn furniture and a pretty little fence. Across the street is Peach Park (they sell peaches and homemade ice cream and lots of "stuff".) Its also a park. The Scottish Inn is a great place to stay. The price is amazing!

My spouse and I made reservations to stay here during the holidays. We arrived in the area a day early, and were easily able to get into our room early. Room was taken care of daily, even Christmas day. Staff was polite. Room contained mini-fridge and microwave, cable tv and free wi-fi. Nicer table/chairs and dresser than most motels. LOTS... More
