The bathroom gets really busy since they share it with the India guesthouse, they also have to turn on the hot water and you have to wait 20 minutes before showering at certain hours. We had a room without a window, it was the size of a shoebox, and truly the place is like a sauna because the fan is... More

Stayed in a room with window and tv for about 5 nights. very clean place, the guy at reception was friendly, helpful and respectful. Bathrooms are shared but cleaned several times a day by the slightly overworked staff. Mumbai is way more expensive than the rest of India, so this was a great deal! Would highly recommend it, most other... More

A bit rough around the edges, but good value for money. Bathrooms are shared and a bit cramped, but are kept quite clean throughout the day. Get a room with a window, or better yet, the one corner room that's actually on the floor below, which has windows on two sides.

First, you need to book ahead as this is a small hotel with only 6 rooms, second: ask for sea view rooms as they are much better. For the price (budget) this will be one of the best hotels you stay in when visiting India. Excellent location for all the tourist sights and good restaurants nearby.

Really an excellent option for this price range. It's spotlessly clean and the shared bathrooms are newly remodeled and great. The rooms are very basic, clean and comfortable, with clean linens. HOWEVER, there's no AC, so it can get very hot. We first had a widow-less room (no AC, no window, no ventilation = absolute sweatbox!!) and it was so... More

This place is great for the budget traveller. The location is AMAZING, the rooms are clean and a good size, the shared bathrooms are cleaned often (plus there are quite a few shower/toilet stalls so there is always one available), plus there is a TV (with English channels... bliss)!!! Also, as an added bonus, the man at the front desk... More

I've had some pretty awful experiences in Mumbai, but this one went above and beyond my expectations. It is cheap considering some of the other options in this city. The cleanliness is also top notch and the staff are very helpful. The location is fantastic - right by the Gateway of India, which is also handy when getting taxi's as... More

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at the sea shore hotel! They were very accommodating despite being very busy they managed to find and keep a room for us and we were so greatful. The rooms are nice and the whole place is very clean. They gave great advise on where to eat in the area and the... More

I liked the seashore very much, and it was my first Hotel in India. It is well located, with the Gateway of India and the bustling touristy streets of Colaba in a short walks distance. You get sea view if you manage to get one of the rooms with windows (they can't guarantee you that when you reserve your room... More
