I stayed at the hotel for about a month while working in Florence. The staff is very friendly. It is a reasonable place to stay. There are probably more family friendly hotels around. It is a good value. More

The main reason for staying here is the price. All other hotels in town charge handsomely considering the size of the town. The hotel itself is acceptable, if in need of a bit of investment. But if all you want is a clean bed, a clean bathroom and working Airco, then you'll be fine here. It is within walking distance... More

...which I appreciated very much when I left some property at the hotel. The manager was great in telling me what I needed to do to get it sent back to me and I appreciated that very much. Keep in mind the price of this hotel; your expectations should be set appropriately. Other helpful hints: take a shower the night... More

Stayed at the City Lodge in June 2011. Had a nice, comfortable stay and liked that it was close to the hospital where my mom was admitted. This place is very affordable - other hotels were asking for $80-100 per night. I would definitely stay again. More

I hate to write a bad review on any place. Here are the cons: dirty. Run down. Dark lighting. Old elevator and filthy. Scary lobby with glass window checkin at all times of day. Indian owned and run. Shaddy and scary guests and residents! Saw drug runs in parking lot. Walked into room and walked out. Gross and neighbors scary. More

Clearly this is a review by someone who is prejudiced and this is a false description of the motel. We invite you to come and check it out or look on our website for property information and photos. We have about 80% of our guests return year after year. We cater for the mid-range market and attract guests that are... More
