Booked this hotel through booking.com and was rated four star. Picked location due to child friendly places nearby. This is not a four star hotel. Luckily it was only for one night so we made do. hotel room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Breakfast had nothing at all that would suit a western guest apart from fruit and toast. There was a tray left outside a room when we arrived at 2pm, it was still there the next day. Hotel felt grubby and i would not book again. Pool is very small.

Made booking through Booking.com. Very easy check-in, I always check-in late at night as we will travel to Melaka right away after office hour. My kids enjoy the stay, never had opportunity to swim at their pool yet but will look forward to it. Parking is a problem here, based on first come first serve. I love their selection of breakfast meal...my family love it too. Near to McDonald if you want to supper in the middle of the night.

Had problem checking in & out..as the reception not sync with sales staff. Should improve as the room is clean & comfortable as told just refurbished. The toilet is small, not suitable for expats. The breakfast is not bad, lots of people as I came during holidays.

The location is good because near to touristic place in Ayer Keroh and McDonalds is just next door. Other than the swimming pool that has slides for kids the hotel is not as expected. I book a Superior Double Room that can fit 3 people but I only got 2 towels. When I call the housekeeping they want to charge me at first for extra towels.Room is quite small for 3 people.Bottle water is for 2 person only and no instant noodle at ky place even though it is stated there in the package. Breakfast is really basic and service is slow..hardly people clean up or take ur plates..Table is not properly set..I think the breakfast service is one of the poorest I have ever been. Overall I don't think I want to come to this hotel again.I was suprise I need to pay RM50 deposit in cash something I never experience before in checking in hotels in Malaysia. I book here because of good reviews that I have seen but really this is disappointing not worth the price I pay.

It was value for money. A clean room though I did notice a small stain on one bedsheets and somethings left by the previous guest Ah well it is a budget hotel. . Friendly staff at the reception. Good wifI. A reasonable restaurant downstairs. And the MITC event center is opposite. If that is where you are going to be then this is a reasonable place . The one main problem is the location. Not that the hotel management can do something about it. the area is completely devoid of anything interest. I did not feel like going for a walk in the morning and since the hotel has no gym I ended up conference stay a few kilos heavier.

Came at 2pm. There is already a queue of around 7 people at the counter. And quite a lot of people just sitting at the lobby area waiting to be checked in. Check in is veeeeerrrryyyyyy veeeeerrrryyyyyy veeeeerrrryyyyyy veeeeerrrryyyyyy veeeeerrrryyyyyy slow. Not sure why, either maybe it is due to some people late check out so housekeeping need to take extra time to clean the room or housekeeping is taking forever to clean a room or the Front Office staff that are slooooowwwwwww in doing their job. Advisable to come check in after 3pm. But come to think of it, better don't come here at all!!! Totally not recommended. The aircond in the lobby is a bit warm and that definitely does not help with the waiting. I only get the keys at 4pm. That is 2 hours of waiting for the rooms to be ready! And that is with the help of Redzwan. He has been very very very helpful and he is not even a full time staff there, he is only a student doing his practical there. Shame on the Front Office staff there. You guys should be more like Redzwan. Even the fulltime staff are not that friendly and not helpful and they are not even smiling!! Really, shame on you Front Office staff. Management, please do take note. Your Front Office staff really give bad first impression to your customers. My first impression of your hotel - really bad and this is my first and last I will come to your hotel. Never anymore! All of this because of the bad experience your Front Office staff gave to me. No basement parking. The only parking within the hotel is surrounding the hotel. Very limited parking, estimated only around 30 parking bay. If the parking within the hotel is full, customers can park outside the hotel. Room - Deluxe room with 1 single bed and 1 queen bed. Room is very small with some space just enough for you to walk between the bed and the wall. No luggage rack. Shower is small too that can only fit 1 person at a time - when in hotels, normally my 2 kids will always shower together, so at this hotel this means they cant shower together now. Aircond in the room is cool because it is the type where we normally install at home, it is not building centralized aircond. The room carpet and furniture are very dusty with strands of hair. My youngest kid falls sick with all the dust. The toilet floor is not clean, there are strands of hair and dusts. TV is ok, good picture quality and good sound. Swimming pool - there are 2 pools: 1 with slides that is 0.6m deep and another 1 without slides and is 1.2m deep. Both are located right next to each other and separated by a rail. Both pools look like a number 8 from above. There are some kids and even adults that wear normal clothes (not swimming suits) in the pool, so I guess there are no restrictions. There are towels provided by the counter near the pool. No safeguard. Evening swim is nice because the sun is blocked by the hotel building. Kids are definitely going to love the pool with slides. Breakfast - not many varieties. Egg station, porridge with condiments, nasi lemak, fried kuey teow, bread and butter pudding, baked beans, glass noodle soup and breads. Location - there is McD right next to the hotel. There is also Subaidah nearby. Surrounding the area are gov buildings, houses and a few shoplots. I booked this hotel for 2 nights. And because of the bad experience and the room sucks and bad breakfast, we only stayed for 1 night and checked out early to move to another hotel. Totally not recommended.

Lobby: clean but there is a stinky sewage smell at the lobby. Room and bathroom: small, comfy and very clean. Few patches of moldy stains at the windows section. Fast food nearby: walking distance to McD and mamak. Price: too High for outta city centre zone.

You can ignore all the older comments about this hotel because it has changed a lot. This is a good value for money hotel. The staff are friendly; their is a great cafe downstairs, a 24hr McDonalds next door and a swimming pool with a small adventure water playground for the little kids. The room wasn't huge but I have stayed in smaller rooms in Sydney, London and NY so this was fine. It was clean and basic but functional. Wifi was terrible which is annoying. We did have one issue where a very heavy and sharp knife fell from first floor dining room down to the ground floor lounge area hitting my colleague. No one from staff came over to see if she was ok after it was brought to their attention even though she was bleeding. If she had been sitting just 30cm to her right the knife would have gone into her head. One of our colleagues said he witnessed a similar incident the day before. Management need to address this very dangerous situation soon before someone gets killed.

It's at the heart of Ayer Keroh, Malacca. Just 2 mins to Mydin and other shops. Recently renovated, clean but the room's small. No work table or chair. Bathroom is also small and clean. The hotel seems popular with families, so if you get a room near the families, you can hear kids running, screaming in the hallways... This is an okay hotel to stay if others nearby are full.
