There was a very strong musty smell that greeted me along the corridors. It was rather overbearing. Luckily the room was cleared of that smell. Room was rather spacious and had a good sea view with natural lighting. Hotel is very near to two malls. A bit of walk to Jonker street though.

I stayed here with friends for three nights - the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is conveniently located to everything central in Melaka - big shopping centre directly across the road. Great view over the straits from our room. Breakfast was great.
