I have been a repeated customer for the past few years. Hotel price is about 50% cheaper that the 4-5 star hotels across the road. Pahlawan Megamall and Mahkota Mall are within walking distance. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Can book hotel van to nearby attractions, but sometimes van not available.

Fenix Inn located quite a distance from St.Paul's hill, Christ Church (Gedung Merah), and Jonker Street. The room was small and clean in a separate building though for the money it was all we needed. The location is great close to good restaurants and shopping and the old historical part of town we came to see.

Stayed 1 night at Fenix Inn. The staff is very polite despite us arriving after midnight. There's also free valet parking who would move your vehicle into the hotel compound for safer parking.
