Checked in at 4PM and met by a rude desk attendant, Morgan. Not friendly at all, borderline hostile. The second night a bus parked outside our window and left running. I called the desk and Morgan answered. She seemed like she didn't want bothererd with this. To confirm she would take care of it I asked again. At this point she snapped, "I said I would look into it". She was most unhelpful on everything The breakfast was great. All other hotel personnel were great. We had a suite with a wooden door between us and the next room. We could hear everything the people said.

Very nice hotel. Convenient location. Clean & organized breakfast area. Several restaurants within short driving distance. Our room was clean and well maintained (aside from the bathtub drain being loose). Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Booked a room online with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Showed up and the room smelt awful. We tried to look past it as we were tired and just ready to get some rest after a 9 hour road trip. As soon as we unfolded the sofa bed the aweful smell became much more pungent. It litterally smelt like a fish market in there. We went and asked the lady at the desk for some spray and she came to the room to smell it her self. As soon as she opened the door she said "oh yea, I can smell it from here". She provided spray but it just made the smell worse. On top of that, we discovered that there was a dirty pair of underwear lying in the restroom. At this point we asked if we could switch rooms and she said that they only had one room available and it was a king with a king sofa bed. We said we would take it, but we were going to get dinner and let her get everything switched over while we ate. When we came back, the manager was there. He said he had just sprayed the room and it smelt fine. We informed him that we were supposed to have our room switched but he said it was already taken. This was upsetting since we told the lady that we wanted it and she said she would be working on getting us switched over to it while we ate. We went back into the original room and it did not "smell fine". We asked the manager to come back into the room and smell it him self but he refused. In fact, he refused to even look our way the entire time because evidently his phone was more important. We were not rude in any way to them and the lady at the front desk seemed very sweet. The manager on the other hand was very rude and unprofessional. The room was obviously not cleaned well and management did not care one bit. We ended up staying elsewhere. Luckily the hotel is in a great location surrounded by other hotels who were more than willing to accommodate us.

We received a friendly greeting upon arrival at this hotel during our family trip. The suite was neat and clean. We all slept well and enjoyed the breakfast. The location is convenient for shopping and easy access to the interstate without the noise.

We had a very nice 1-night stay. The room was clean with plenty of space. Check in and out was easy and quick. Breakfast options were good with a nice coffee machine which also provided hot water for tea. Have not stayed in a Comfort Suites for several years, but we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I can not say enough good about my entire stay. The housekeeping staff always greeted me with a smile when passing in the hall. The above-average breakfast area was clean and full of items. The room was clean and quiet The gardeners outside even offered a smile. These acts of rare kindness were terrific and much appreciated by someone who travels every week; however, my most sincere praise must go to Ms. Sarah. She went completely out of her way to accommodate me after I had to leave another hotel abruptly due to mold. Ms. Sarah arranged for Martha to quickly clean a room so I could check in early (very early). Ms. Sarah understood my unfortunate situation at the other hotel; she was 'genuinely' concerned and went above and beyond the call of duty to help. And, I have to say she did it in a very professional manner, with a sense of humor, which helped reduce my frustration with the other hotel. I can not Thank the entire staff enough, especially Ms. Sarah, for making my work week much more enjoyable and productive. I truly hope the Owner/GM realizes what a gold mine they have in their staff, I travel every week and thoroughly appreciate the above-average experience. I will see you again when I'm working in the Oxford Alabama area. My sincere Thanks and my best to you all.

If this was a cheaper price I would rate it 5/5. But if I’m spending over $150 a night I expect things to be top notch. Very little front parking. As a female alone I did not feel safe parking in the back and walking around. There wasn’t a door (that I could see at night) at the back. It wasn’t an unsafe location, but it didn’t inspire confidence either. Bushes someone could hide in, a lot of 18 wheelers and car haulers parked around. They used something to clean that did not agree with my nose. But that was a me thing- I’m glad they were cleaning. The room was ok- but not worth the price. The small pillows mentioned in other reviews are regular pillow folded trying to be ‘fancy’. Fixtures were older, in need of repair, basic. Bed was ok comfy but nothing to write home about. Couch was hard. I didn’t pull it out. Light in the bath was either tarnished or cleaned badly. Tub could use some Clorox. Carpet had stains. Breakfast the first day was ok, but again for the price it should’ve been better. Typical hotel ‘free’ breakfast. Waffles, scrambled fake eggs, sausage patty, crock pot of gravy, juices, coffee, cereals, and bread assortment. 2nd day was the same except the eggs were fake disks with peppers in the and the sausage was links. Butter for waffles were frozen. Lady that was refilling was nice. Signs everywhere telling you an extra $250 would be charged if you smoked in the room- but I smelled smoke the whole time I was there. I told the front desk, she said they would remind the rooms around me. 2nd and 3rd day staff was friendly, 1st not so much.

From the moment we drove in until we left, staying at this Comfort Suites was a great decision! The plants around the outside are healthy, lush, beautiful and well maintained! The lobby and breakfast area are clean and well cared for! Check in was handled quickly and easily. The room was lovely with comfortable beds, efficient air conditioning and lights that work well, not to mention a clean couch that opens into a bed should someone need that. We had an accessible room and while the shower was a bit on the older side, everything worked well. Breakfast choices were great and even included hot eggs and sausages. (We've noticed this kind of selection has not been available at all Comfort Inns.) The pool is small but lovely. There's ample parking. There are many restaurant choices within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again! Oh! And we were happy to see a Bible and a phone book in the nightstand. Bibles are important and phone books are delightfully quaint! We loved it!

Clean room, comfortable bed, lots of room, and hot shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The hotel has a fitness center and serves a hot, full breakfast every morning. I come to Oxford on business regularly, and have stayed at several of the hotels in this area. This one is my favorite for cleanliness, available amenities, and customer service. Oh- I real bonus for me was the option to stream Netflix and other streaming platforms on the tv in the room! It logs you out when you turn it off. Great place!

We stayed here as a half way stop to Charleston SC. The hotel is decent. The room was a handicap assisted room, so probably a little larger and different than regular rooms. It did smell a bit musty, like it was not used in a while. The room seemed clean, few areas that could’ve been cleaned better. The shower was really not appealing, it really looked kinda nasty. It was discolored with stains etc. The beds were pretty decent, only thing I do not get is the weird little half pillows they have on the beds. Can they not give regular size pillows? Breakfast was good, but not a wide selection. Basically sausage links and round egg things. There was no bread available. Overall the staff was fair, the hotel was fair. I will probably stay at another hotel with the hopes to get better rooms and service.
