Located next to The Bund. 5 minutes walking from the river. The room (Superior King) is one of the largest I have ever seen and I was surprised by the English fluency of their staff. It totally beats every other hotel in my trip to China this time, including Shangri-la Hong Kong.

The Grand Central Hotel is located in the heart of the downtown area. Although quiet in the rooms, the views (especially at night) are fantastic with the hustle and bustle below. The rooms were beautiful and the staff were helpful and friendly. In a country were five stars are relative, this proved to be a good choice.
