We enjoyed one of the numerous tiered outdoor thermal fed hot tubs the first night despite the rain. The grounds were a delight to behold and stroll around, feeding our spirit and the dining room more than adequately nourished our bodies during this brief but memorable stay in between horseback riding and hiking to the fortuna falls nearby. The view of the volcano from this hotel is really unbeatable. Our room was comfortable and pretty nice. It was great to wake up to the birds outside. The grounds were gorgeous and the rooms were very attractive and clean. The service was fair and the staff somewhat standoffish. I loved the 7 hot springs. The top spring was the hottest and as you went down the hill the pools got cooler and cooler. The pool was nice with a swim up bar. Many birds and animals around.... More
