The hotel is nice if you want to stay there, but not much too see around, and too far to walk to town, so you need a car and then parking at the beach and rent long chairs.. Beach close to hotel or samara are ok but not wow. Surf is 30min dirt road, so not convenient for surf base... More

El Gecko is an amazing place for people who love tropical plants and flowers. The bungalows are well designed with appealing features. The pool offers a peaceful setting to relax and listen to the surrounding fauna. For a dinner, I would recommend the restaurant close on the beach "El Lagarto", great food!

Our cabin was so beautiful, private, and peaceful. The outdoor shower was particularly awesome. We walked to town in about 15-20 minutes, a very nice stroll and we saw some howler monkeys on the way.
