First thing's first - this place is for young travelers only. I wouldn't go there for the amenities if that's what you're into. But I've been there twice and had so much fun both times. After checking in and wandering the town looking at other hostels, it was clear rocking j's is by far the worst. Dirty, smelly rooms, lumpy pillows and no mosquito nets. The staff were rude and unhelpful. There are loads of other far better hostels a stones throw away, so avoid at all costs!

Staff are very rude & the places is kinda shabby. If you want to get any sleep at all this is not the place for you. Didn't really like the whole vibe of the place & everyone is packed in everywhere like cattle.

I stayed in the pimp suite the sheets were dirty the room it's self was alright the place is right on the beach . It is what it is puerto veijo is just shacks on the beach I am sure if you will stay here you will have a good time just don't expect much

I found that the private rooms were over priced at $26 since they were extremely small and disgustingly hot and dirty.
