This was the 4th resort we had stayed at our trip around Costa Rica. I was a little in awe when our shuttle pulled up to the resort and he said this was the Falls Resort. It didn't look like much of anything. Very small entrance, actually you had to go underground to get to the reception area....and just a... More

This hotel was by far the nicest that I stayed at on my entire trip!! We only got to stay at The Falls for one night, but it was absolutely wonderful! When you first walk in the front entrance, it is deceptively just like any other hotel. It did not appear that special at first. But when you head into... More

Great hotel, very clean! Gorgeous grounds complete with wildlife!! Comfy rooms with great decore! The restaurant was great, food wise and great prices with large portions! Our only complaint was that we ordered a little pasta and tomato sauce for our 17 month old and our waiter Richardo told us it would be $2.00-$2.50. We received the bill and it... More

We stayed at The Falls for three nights last week and were very pleased with this "resort". As other posters have said, when you first pull into the parking lot, it is not very impressive. The open air lobby is not fancy, but has a neat beachy, open feeling to it. Several couches, stuffed chairs, two chess/game tables, a library... More

When I drove to the front entrance, I was not very impressed. Then they took me to my room. The bed looked very romantic, included a leather couch, and a nice TV. The bathroom was lovely as well. They even had a nice garden within the property. Its in a good location for Manuel Antonio Park and you can see... More

We really liked this resort. The gardens were beautiful and the rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were superb. The property is adjacent to the park which meant we got to see lots of wildlife from the property. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was basic but good and included in the price. The restaurant was very nice also.Great... More

Like you, I researched hotels religiously before finally making a decision. If you do indeed choose this hotel, you will not be disappointed. Rooms -- we had Room #6 -- it is the only standalone room with a King-size bed. So if you can get it, do it! It's also considered a "standard room" so its cheaper. Great a/c, TV,... More

I didn't stay here but I did eat her four times during my stay in the area. The food was great! I had the special beef tenderloin one night, a fish sandwich another lunch, the sea bass, and finally, ceviche on the last night. Yes, I know I should have been more adventurous and tried other restaurants, but this place... More
