My wife and I stayed here almost ten years ago when we got married an we loved the place. We were always looking forward to the day that we would return, but not any more. The rooms now are way over priced for what they have to offer. What they lack in amenities and service they make up for in... More

Location & impressions: Nice hotel, well located. Xpensive, but regarding the location of the hotel...The restaurant of the hotel is rarely frequented, except for the inclued breakfast. Hotel is pretty close to a small bridge under wich runs a low watered river, that brings a lot of mosquitos at night near the reception and restaurant. If you plan to use... More

I enjoyed my stay here. The pool was cool amd there was a ton of wild life around the hotel. We saw sloths, monkeys, frogs and all kinds of birds. It was also right in the entrance to the park. More

After spending a wonderful 2 weeks in Costa Rica we ended our trip with 2 nights at this hotel and were disappointed. Everyone else before was so friendly and ready to help while staff here didn't appear to care much for their guests. In addition, the rooms lacked taste in decoration and were not practical (especially bathrooms: no place to... More

Although overpriced, it is hard to find a place in manuel antonio that is not. Enjoyed the nice rooms, swimming pool and lovely breakfast. More

Recommended by our cab driver, we lucked out with this hotel. Great location a block from the beach, had everything we needed. Room was small but we choose this one, clean, cozy. Alan the hotel manager and owners son was Wonderful, he gave us anything and everything we asked or needed. The hotel pool, restaurant, breakfast all top notch. Would... More

The rooms are ok but small, it would be maybe ok, if you’re at the first floor, or at the back of the reception. But other rooms are actually on the parking, like in the motel. No intimacy at all. Service definitely not good. From them all (met at least 6 personnel members - just one waiter was nice). Quite... More

Hotel was very clean and the people working there could't be more helpful. We had a great breakfast every A.M. and had several dinners. The seafood for 2 was the best I think I have ever eaten. In the late afternoon a family of 8 -12 monkeys came down from the trees and were only a few feet away from... More

We did not actually stay here but ate almost all our meals in the restaurant as the food was excellent and they catered to my food allergy. We left our camera in the restaurant the first night that we were here and it was returned to us the next day. We used their free internet service and booked more travel... More

Villa Bosque is a peaceful hotel. The facilities are very clean but can be very slippery when wet. The decor was a little too traditional for my tastes but still nice-looking. We got a corner room on the second floor and had a romantic wrap around porch outside. We really enjoyed having the pool all to ourselves when everyone else... More
