My husband and I recently stayed for 5 nights. We felt like we were staying with old friends. The staff is wonderful and very accomodating. The food was excellent - esp the seafood platter. We saw (and heard) more wildlife outside our room than we did at Manuel Antonio Park. Beautiful views. Great people - We would definitely stay at... More

Mango Moon was a great choice for us. After reading reviews on Tripadvisor, I decided this was our type of place. I was looking for a small boutique hotel that would offer personalized service. This was it. I was traveling with my husband and 14 year old daughter. Not a lot of hotels offer connecting rooms, so this was key... More

We stayed at Mango Moon almost a week and really enjoyed it. Everyone there (Lindsay, Arlyn, Tito, etc.) was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating (thank you guys for making our trip amazing!) We loved watching the white face and howler monkeys in the trees above the pool at sunset. Breakfast was great. It took us a few days to find... More

First impression as the driver approached was "What a charming place!" Small, cozy, even a bit funky. We liked it immediately. Glad we were exhausted from all the adventures in Arenal because we didn't feel guilty just sitting and staring out at the Pacific. The monkeys put on the happy hour show and there is constant activity from the windowed... More

Really enjoyed Mango Moon. It is a small place (only 9 rooms). It is expensive, but it's a very nice place. Stayed in the iguana pad room with another couple. Not a perfect setup for 2 couples since you have to walk through the front bedroom to get to the back bedroom. It is a bit of a trek to... More

Just returned a few days ago from 7 days in Costa Rica and Mango Moon. What a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Howler Hangout; I believe one of the bigger rooms. Literally half the room is windows. We opened our eyes each morning and scanned the trees for activity. Monkeys dropped by daily to toss a green mango our... More

We were only able to stay here for one night but wished we could have stayed for many more! - The food was excellent! I had the most delicious mango cucumber salad for lunch and banana pancakes the following morning. - Monkeys frequent the trees above the hotel which provided a wonderful view from our deck - Absolutely gorgeous view... My husband and 2 daughters (12 and 9) just returned from a 4 night stay at Mango Moon in the Manuel Antonio area. We all loved Mango Moon and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. We stayed in the Gecko Suite and loved having two separate bedrooms and a private balcony and hammock. Mango Moon is a haven and... More

Hotel Mango Moon is located just OFF the main road between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. It is only a couple minute drive / taxi to the park. The location is ideal since it is not loud but yet still close (walking distance) to many restaurants , ATM, groceries etc. Donna and Tito and the rest of the staff are great.... More
