A deep (or high) cut above the average Hostelworld fare and well worth the extra colones. It is set in a magnificently restored wooden mansion dating from 1920, replete with wooden louvres, wrought iron balconies and apparently 49 doors! It offers a view of the bay (with resident crocodile) from one side and the pretty Parque Victoria from the other.... More
