I was surprised at how much I liked this hotel. Its about a 10 minute walk to downtown San Jose and about a 15-20 min drive from the airport. There is not much to do around the hotel. There is a casino located in the property but we didn't go in. We stayed in the club level floor which had... More

Sure, this hotel is a little dated with its decor and floor plan reminiscent of the era in which it was probably built, but don't let appearances fool you. The rooms are incredibly spacious and there is ample space for meetings of all sizes. This is definitely one of San Jose's best and most reliable hotels and should be considered... More

The room is spacious with Sleep Number beds. We stayed once on our way into town and once on our way out. On both occasions, we received rooms with 2 queen beds. Both times, one Sleep Number bed was broken. Wireless internet is provided in the rooms. The wireless service various depending on your room's proximity to the front desk.... More

Check-in took some time as a large group had just arrived. Hotel only has a few floors but is very long. Walk from the reception to the room in long winding corridors took some time. Room very spacious and well equipped. Nevertheless, minibar was empty for some reason. Rooms have great décor though a slightly “moldy” smell hung in the... More

My wife and I spent three nights at this hotel and my best description would be to call it an oasis in the midst of what can be a chaotic city. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city center near a bus terminal that seems to be a nexus for all of Central America. But once you... More

A few blocks from the main part of town and lots of traffic to deal with. We stayed here at the beginning & end of our Costa Rica tour. Had the beds just the way we wanted them, room service for a couple of sandwiches took 50 mins but they were worth the wait. The room was a good size... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a costa rica tour. The hotel has large rooms, with 2 double beds in ours, and a decent size bathroom. We had a very good breakfast included. All in all, a nice hotel. More

I stay in this Hotel for a Conference. They put me in the suite area which is a private area of the Hotel. It was a very nice room, but it was facing a large avenue and I could hear the street noise. In general the hotel looks like it is reaching the time for a renovation, or it does... More
