I chose this hotel as I had been here a couple of years ago and it was so convenient for access to the slopes! The rooms haven't been updated but the beds have - they are now SO comfy we didn't want to get out to ski in the mornings! Breakfasts in the Pond Cafe were excellent - so much... More

The Alyeska Hotel is among the absolute BEST that we have stayed! We have 3 children and do not often times have the opportunity to stay at high end resorts. The Alyeska afforded us that opportunity with reasonable rates and affortable accommodations. The kids Absolutely loved the attention with cookies/milk and a movie every night... as well as the tremendous... More

Wonderful resort, catered to, comfortable, beautiful and the slopes?...Well, during this February of 2012 - it was absolutely Ski Heaven! Gear rental facilities staffed with help, plenty of boots, skis, helmets, whatever is needed. Shuttle service offered to and from hotel. The cafe's offer variety, food well prepared, many choices and a staff to keep you on your toes and... More

This marvelous hotel is a "must visit" if you come to the Anchorage area. If you are military, Alyeska Resort has ski ticket discounts and is also very generous in giving one free skiing day to active duty and retired alike. The food is superb at all venues. The slope side Sitzmarknhas excellent skiing food and an excellent beer selection.... More

The place to stay for the best location. Ski in n out with great views. Huge hot tub for après ski. Very good breakfasts and great service too. Clean nice sized rooms with nightly turndown service. Just can't figure out why wifi is only in common areas and not rooms. Have stayed here before and they have greatly improved food... More

This is a review of the hotel Aleyeska in Girdwood Alaska. We stayed there for two nights beginning August 20, 2011. The place was exactly what we needed after off got off the flight from New York - definitely a four diamond type resort with rooms which were very nice and clean. Probably the nicest place to stay within a... More

Stayed Sunday night over the President's weekend holiday. Unfortunately, the hotel wasn't well staffed. We had to wait almost 2 hours past check-in time for our room, as did many others. After complaining, they did provide breakfast vouchers. Missed going night skiing because of the delay. :-{ Now that the negative is out of the way, there are the positives.... More

Dear AK_Steve_AK, Thank you for the kind and constructive review. We really work hard to get our rooms turned around for the next guests. Unfortunately some of our room types were not ready at the normal check in time and for that I apologize. If you have a moment I would appreciate a call to discuss your thoughts on the... More

Bear in mind that the Alyeska Prince is located in the most remote, wild region of the developed world. No, the pool is not a miracle of modern engineering, and the beds aren't exactly the finest cumulus clouds, but if you can tolerate mere demi-luxury, the Prince offers a very comfortable way to access a thrilling chunk of earth. The... More

My daughter and I spent six nights at the Alyeska Resort in early February and had a great time. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. Our meals at its Japanese restaurant, Sakura, were to die for, and the rest of the dining was good. Our room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, and its views of the... More
