We only stayed here one night which is such a shame as it turned out to be one of the best nights in our 2 week tour of Alaska. Yes, its not posh, but the location is beautiful, and the lodge is atmospheric and is just what you hope for , in a woodsie locations. John and the family were... More

This lodge sits on Lake Louise. My wife and I stayed there Sept. 2011. We drove from Fairbanks, through North Pole, AK, Delta Junction, and Glenallen. Lake Louise Lodge was a welcome rest. We both a beer and headed out onto the dock to watch the sunset: absolutely beautiful. That night, my wife saw the aurora borealis. This lodge has... More

Amazingly I was the only person staying in the Lodge on a Monday night, but Dave, owner and proprieter was friendly and helpful. I am a photographer by hobby and everyone in the family was really helpful in looking for eagles for me. The setting is beautiful, the room very nice with an awesome view. More

Our family owns a cabin on Lake Louise, and come here often for breakfast and showers. John and his family are always very welcoming and ready to assist no matter what the situation. Highly recommend for a peacefil getaway. Lodge clean and good home cooked meals! More

Our rooms were rather basic, but o.k. Price too high for what is offered. Ask for rooms with lake view. We saw the sun going down with in orange sky just before midnight, shortly after 1 A.M. the sky was pink with a rising sun (June). More

On the Sunday before Christmas, my husband, two young children, and myself traveled to Lake Louise to stay at our family cabin thru Christmas. When we got to the lake, the weather was terrible, sunny - but close to -30 below, and too rough to travel with young children, so while my husband traveled to our cabin, the kids and... More

Small, well-maintained and friendly lodge on beautiful Lake Louise. The fall colors and sunsets were amazing. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. Rooms small but not cramped. Wake to loons at sunrise. More

First of all, be sure to get room# 3, 4 or 5 overlooking the lake. Rooms 1 and 2 have a small sauna, but are so dark and unusable that it made us change our reservation upon arriving to room #3. A dinner main course is 30 USD. No host to great you, no feeling welcome. If you wanted, you... More

Lodge is in a remote spot, 45 miles from the nearest city. Quiet with a terrific view of the lake from every room. We had two rooms, both had a balcony overlooking the lake. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. We had a breakfast and evening meal at the Lodge and they were both excellent. The rooms were... More
