My sister and I stayed 4 nights at the Chocolate Drop Lodge and loved it. The food, the scenery and the relaxing atmosphere this time of year was just what we needed for a nice vacation. Huck and Samantha are the best! Some updates and new carpeting in the big living area would be great! See you again next year!

My wife and I were on our first visit to Alaska, and stayed at the Chocolate Drop Lodge. The view just grew as we climbed the hill east of Homer. The lodge is an impressive log building in a big, open field, covered with wildflowers. There's an unobstructed view of Kachemak Bay, with a classic Alaska mountain panorama on the... More

On a recent family trip to Alaska, we stayed at the Chocolate Drop Lodge (10 of us). Huck and Sam are the new managers (new this season) and are striving to give the best experience possible. They are friendly, down-to-earth, open, and helpful. Service: We've stayed at several B&Bs and Huck and Sam definitely have what it takes to make... More

We stayed in the Forget-Me-Not suite at the Chocolate Drop Lodge (Bed and Breakfast) July 9 & 10, 2012. The lodge is just minutes away from The Spit. The suite was huge and the view was breathtaking. Me, my two sons, and my sister visited Homer this past week. We stayed at the Chocolate Drop Lodge (Bed and Breakfast) as advised by our boat captain (halibut fishing) Captain Steve Button. The facility is top notch. And even more important, the couple that runs the place, Huck and Sam (short for Samantha) make very effort to make sure that... More
