Do not stay here if you are military. The B&B experience was wonderful.... it was the treatment afterwards that was unbelieveable and I do not want anyone else to go through what my husband and I just experienced. Long story short: they gave us a breakfast voucher that was good until 1100 to use in one of three restaurants. We... More

We loved our 3-night stay at Bear Creek Winery. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and the facilities were wonderful. We had wonderful views, a sauna and hot tub, lawns, barbeque and much more. The breakfast was rather average - just frozen muffins and bland fruit which we prepared in our room along with coffee, tea and oatmeal. Upon... More

There are two rooms at this unique place, and we stayed in the Cowboy Room. It was cozy and comfortable with a more than adequate kitchen space and sitting area. A large bathroom with VERY comfy bathrobes complemented the sleeping area. There was also a rather large flat screen tv with more channels than you could ever want to watch.... More

We enjoyed staying in the cabins which are located besides the winery. The grounds are nicely landscaped and very nice to sit in. The hot tub was nice but did not have jets. It is located a little out of town so cannot walk to the beach or the stores. Nice to have a refrigerator but not much in the... More

Hosts were knowledgeable and friendly, but it was the most expensive place we stayed at in our 10 days in Alaska and I would rank 3 of 5 places we stayed at above this one. Also, no juice is supplied and the continental breakfast was not impressive. On a positive note, the room was clean and the views were nice. More

We arrived and were given a complementary plate of smoked salmon and halibut crackers, free bottle of wine, and for our anniversary, a free bottle of port and chocolates. They gave us a tour of the room and had lots of brochures about what to see and do in Homer. There were two rooms in a small cabin, but both... More

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days for his R&R from Afghanistan. It was the perfect place. It was quiet, relaxing, beautiful, and the rooms were awesome! They kept everything supplied with nice amenities such as cozy robes and slippers. This is what a bed and breakfast should be! More

We stayed here for four days and absolutely loved the place. Dorothy, the owner, spared no expense in making this a beautiful and romantic spot to stay. Her attention to detail in the guest rooms, the grounds and the winery really make for a special experience. We stayed in the "Cowboy" suite, and the decor was great and the room... More

Nice clean room w/ good do it yourself continental breakfast. Enjoyed the wine tasting at the winery. Hot tub was OK, but not that hot and no jets - more of a soaking tub. It's a ways out of town, but has nice views. Hosts were knowledgeable and friendly, but we felt it was on the pricey side - it... More

We stayed at Bear Creek last week and had an absolutely wonderful stay. When you first arrive at the property it's a bit deceiving--you're in a large parking lot with the wine shop to your right. I was worried that the place might be a bit blah. Boy, was I wrong. When you walk around the back of the property... More
