As soon as my husband and I walked in the door, I said, "I could live here". We stayed in one of the one bedroom cottages, and it was perfect. The entire cottage is well built, and very spacious. While looking for a place to stay in the Palmer / Wasilla area for the Alaska State Fair, I found Alaska Birch Cottages. This was our favorite lodging in AK. The 6 cottages are 1-story or have a 2nd floor loft bedroom/bath. The full kitchen was stocked with a nice assortment of breakfast items. A gas fireplace and great bathroom... More
