Having stayed here several years ago, it is very obvious that standards have slipped in the last 2 years and that the hotel has become complacent with a lack of competition. This is a lovely colonial hotel right on the river. The room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. We had drinks on the verandah overlooking the river and a very nice meal in the restaurant with a decent bottle of cold wine.
