Had a very quiet few days in an overwater bungalow which was the best! The resort had few guests and food was just average. You won't need more than 2 days here to see and do everything local.

This resort is a beautiful place, run by beautiful people and in a nearly perfect destination. Like some of the other recent reviewers, my wife and I grabbed the "free nights" deal from SPM Hotels. We stayed 6 nights at the Moorea Pearl, then 6 nights (free!) at the Manihi Pearl Beach Resort. Loved the seclusion here. Over the water bungalow was "checked" off the bucket list! Very clean, accommodating, loved the bread for the fish every day and slipping into the water all day from our private deck. For us it was heaven and just as we could have pictured it.

We only came to Manihi because we found a special deal: stay 5 nights in an overwater bungalow at the Pearl in Bora Bora and get 5 nights in an overwater bungalow on Manihi - free.
