We spent one night at this Lodge thru Princess Cruises and found the room comfortable. We came to see Alaska and so weren't particular on the lodging. With this said, the location is out in the country with wonderful views of Mt. McKinley. We were told by staff that most visitors never get to see the peak of Mt. McKinley... More

Granted, we had 3 beautiful days with amazing views of Mt McKinley and wonderful weather, so that made for a great time, however the accommodations were also very good. We had nice rooms - nothing super fancy, but clean and very adequate for the little time we spent in the room. We went to a couple good presentations put on... More

Well from the start the location is the very best the views are UNBELiVEABLE but the lodge is not run good the staff is young and have no concern for the guest I waited till 4:30 in the afternoon for my room with no air and that's fine for most of the time but it would of been nice to... More

We stayed one night at the beginning of our cruise tour. We got what it said ‘on the tin’ a room in a wilderness lodge. We had a good sized comfortable room in a single storey lodge that contained around 12 rooms. We had a dinner, a takeaway breakfast and a lunch in the 20230 restaurant, which is the middle... More

Only stayed here for less than 10 hours due to delays. We stayed here at the end of the land portion of the princess cruisetour. The train from Denali was 3 hours late, causing us to almost miss our flight tour of mt McKinley. The shuttle from Talkeetna to the McKinley princess lodge only runs until 9pm. Since we didn't... The view from the terrace of the lobby is worth the stay here, which we did as part of a Princess land tour following our cruise on the Sapphire Princess. The rooms are ok -- not nearly as nice as our mini-suite aboard the Sapphire Princess, but ok. No air conditioning, but a great breeze, and I suspect the a/c... More

Beautiful lodge with separate room lodges spread over the property. McKinley was out both days, quite rare we were told. The back deck was a gorgeous place to sit and enjoy the view late as it stayed light until 1am! The food is just ok. Nothing great. Wait staff not trained as well as they should be for a Princess... We spent a few days at the lodge on a cruise tour in May. Lodges are very spacious with a fantastic log fire. Staff very attentive and restaurant 20320 served a great breakfast and dinner. The deck out the back of the property has a fantastic view and the snow was still on the ground so even more spectacular.Loved it

We styed at the hotel as part of our cruise tour. While it is not a luxury hotel it was nice, clean and offered fantastic views of mt. McKinley, We were lucky enough to have perfect weather both days we were there and the view was spectacular. The hotel is in a remote area which is only open for the... More

Stayed here as part of a cruise tour. The property is large with 25 "lodges" scattered through out. The main lodge is reminds me of a nice 3 to 4 star hotel, but not what I expected for $350 a night. The deck on the back of the main lodge is outstanding if the mountain is showing herself. We stayed... More
