I reserved and checked into a suite with a king bed and sofa sleeper. Upon preparing to retire on the sofa sleeper, I realized there were no extra pillows or blankets in the room as are normally available. We all searched the room for any place that may contain pillows or blankets, and found none. Unfortunately, we found nothing less... More

We enjoyed our last night of our two week vacation at the Best Western Lake Lucille Inn. It is situated on a beautiful lake - complete with some float planes taking off and landing. There is a dock and a nice lakeside lawn for picnicking or playing games. The rooms are clean and are what you would expect of a... More

Great view.Well kept. Nice rooms. This is the second time we stayed at this location in two years and is the best location in the Wasilla/Palmer area. At $199/night, I thought the room was overprised. It was the most expensive room we stayed in out of over 15 locations on our three week trip to Alaska this year. It was... More

Booked this hotel while on holiday in Alaska. Had a very good rate but on checking in paid a little extra to have a room overlooking lake. Price included a substantial breakfast with "real cutlery" which is most unusal for America. Only negative is that the hotel isn't easy to find more signs are required on the main road. More

This property is on the north side of Wasilla set back a bit from the highway leading towards Denali and Fairbanks and alongside scenic Lake Lucille. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the rooms are nice. FYI: There is no elevator at this property so if walking up/down a flight of stairs is an issue you should make sure... More

This is a beautiful hotel set back from the highway on a large parcel of land that borders the lovely Lake Lucille. The rooms are modern, clean and big, Try to get a room on the back end of the building for the stunning lake view. Ducks roam the property and float planes land on the lake throughout the day.... This was a last minute reservation as it poured one of the nights we had planned on camping. Due to the rain we did not get as far north as we had planned and decided to splurge for a hotel in the area. This place was better than we expected. Clean, comfortable rooms with wifi. Nice "Alaska" decor in the... More

We were refused a late departure of just 1 hour even though we didn't check in untill 1100pn the night before due to a 9 hour delay because of a road accident. The front desk people gave no reason for our request denial and seemed totally disinterested in helping us. As we were rushing to check out I took note... More

Spent week here as base camp for day trips. Very clean but lacked much character other than the moose head and stuffed bear in the lobby. Kept thinking this was an upscale hotel but it struck me as very boring. Obviously the nicest hotel in town as they had 3 weddings the week we were there and several bicycle tour... More
