What a lovely view out the back windows of this property. A nice sized pond with a canoe and paddleboats. There are trails to walk around the pond as well. Some of the rooms here have been updated (see Jim's "outhouse" designed bathroom!) and some of them could use some slight updates. Breakfast was tasty & the "smurf" pancakes turned... More

I'm a gal who likes to fish but havent done much travelin on my own. Jim and Kathy took care of me fine, sorta spoiled me for Motels now cause locals steer you right. I was aiming to get up to Denali but the kings come in June, caught a King at Willow creek you oughta try near the mouth... More

My husband and I liked this place a lot. Firstly, their room prices are so cheap compared to places nearer Anchorage or Denali. Each room has its own bathroom, and though the Managers live on the premises they were on separate level. We enjoyed the comfy lounge and living area for the guests and got to meet other other travelers..... More

Jim and Kathy were great hosts. The setting is beautiful and the B&B is decorated in a fun Alaskan style. The breakfast was fabulous! More

This is what a B&B should be. Nice people, comfortable accomidations, good food, and a beautiful setting in which to relax and play. Nice hiking trails and paved biking trails for miles around. Thanks for the relaxing weekend. John More

A great place to stay on the way to Denali. The hosts are genuine Alaskans, with knowledge of the land. Jim shares stories and jokes and his dog's tricks; Kathy makes the excellent breakfast. Stay here if you want to get a sense of how Alaskans live. Quirky eclectic ambience, with Jim's sculptures decorating the lawn. More

Not what we expected. My husbands first response when seeing the property was "did you check this one out?" Breakfast was good, the views very nice, and the host was very warm and welcoming. The bed was ok, but sqweaky and the bath small, but unique. On a budget, it's an ok place to stay. But I must say that... More

Willow Alaska is a tiny town but it is a great place if you like outdoor activities. It is also nearby places such as Wasilla, Palmer and Talkeetna, all of which are fun places to visit. The Alaskan Host B and B is all by itself on a large farm with a lake and walking trail. The rooms were comfortable... More

Fresh from our flight from New Zealand, we stayed at Alaskan Host Bed & Breakfast, Mile 66 Parks Highway in Willow... on the way to Denali or Fairbanks. My husband and I found it cheaper to stay in Willow than Talkeetna or Fairbanks.... It was half the price of most of the accommodations we looked at in those towns. Our... More
