The Stikine inn saved us with their last room at 3am when our B&B insisted we were not booked in so we found ourselves abandoned on the ferry wharf. Nice spacious room very comfortable beds and close to everything. Very friendly place and friendly town. More

We stayed two nights here and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the restaurant on premises. The Inn is centrally located and the restaurant faces the harbor. The menu is extensive and the quality of the dishes outstanding. The Inn itself is clean and well run. The owners are very friendly and helpful. More

We stayed here for 3 nights, choose a room with a view of the water as the view on the other side is not great. the restaurant has been expanded and now also has a coffee shop attached and is a very pleasant spot to watch the water. Room was comfortable but they didn't serve breakfast which was a bit... More

From the ferry terminal it is about a 5 minute walk to the Stikine Inn (which is a large 2 storey building right on the waters edge) to be greated by friendly and helpful proprietors and staff. We chose an ocean view room which is more expensive than those across the corridor but worth it. Some of the rooms have... More

My first visit to Wrangell was on a cruise ship in the fall of 2004. My son and I walked the town for about 2 hours. I fell in love with this wonderful corner of small town Alaska. We stopped at the Stikine Inn and were frankly not impressed. Bill and Cheryl had not yet begun their renovation of the... More

The staff was very polite and courteous with always a smile and energy. The Inn has their own van that can pick you up at the small airline terminal a short distance from downtown. The room was of good size and comfortable with a very nice bed. My room had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. Standard Tube TV 27"... More

Stikine inn is a hotel near the ocean. If your room window looks to south you can see Woronofski island and some of other islands. Staffs are cheerful, housekeeping is better... etc. More

We were soaking wet, cold and tired, and in a foreign country. The family that owns the inn (see their photo elsewhere on this page) took care of us, way beyond the call of duty, and it was much appreciated. Everything about the place was more than adequate, I don't really remember very well, but what I do remember was... More

Under new ownership for one week when I stayed at the Stikine Inn, the new owners bent over backwards to see to my comfort. The dining room's huge picture windows allowed me to gaze at the water and I even saw two sea lions go by as I ate. It is very comfortable, nice and clean. My room was spacious. More
