So many businesses these days are corporate owned and all you can expect is the very same service no matter where you stay. But a better choice is a Bed and Breakfast owned by a family that has a true investment about return business. Such a place is Desert Rose Bed and Breakfast located in Cottonwood, Arizona. It is situated... More

We had an incredible stay at the Desert Rose Bed and Breakfast. Great experience and a good place to rest. Beautiful gardens and clean, nice looking interior. The rooms are wonderful and there are many added extras like complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, tea and fruit, as well as a good selection of dvd's, videos, music and there were ample towels... Desert Rose is the most wonderful Bed and Breakfast in Arizona and really made us feel at home. We highly recommend your Bed and Breakfast to americans and travellers from abroad. Anyone needing a breakaway in Arizona. It is a beautiful place to relax, a home away from home and a haven, close to a lot of interesting places to... More

The Desert Rose is a nice place to rest your head and the folks that run it are very friendly. But classifying this "inn" as a Bed and Breakfast is a stretch. The first morning, the hostess offered to cook us eggs "anyway we like them" but really she had nothing else to add to the eggs (cheese, veggies, etc).... More

Thank you for your compliments and feedback. It sounds like you enjoyed most aspects of your stay, other than the limited choice of breakfast. As a result of your suggestions, we are researching possibilities of expanding our breakfast offering this year. Although we are always looking for ways to improve our product, we do feel that our current pricing reflects... More

We had a wonderful time. Friendly hosts provided a clean, quiet, sunny room, comfortable bed and beautiful surroundings. A well stocked library and DVD collection are available. Breakfast includes a variety of healthful fresh options. There are numerous activities nearby in Sedona or Jerome. Even the Grand Canyon is a day trip from here. The grounds were pleasant with a... My husband and I stayed at the Desert Rose as part of a vacation from the holidays. The proximity to the areas major attractions is ideal. Don't be deterred by the lacklust neighborhood you drive through to reach the bed and breakfast. One inside the gates of the property, you will be greeted by a beautiful pack of Llamas and... More

Yes, the Desert Rose Bed and Breakfast's location is extremely central to the whole Verde Valley, with easy access to all the wineries and tasting rooms, Indian Ruins, restaurants and all that the Verde Valley/sedona/Jerome has to offer. We have said it many times and will repeat it again, rural Arizona is a great in that it is a mix... More

This was a wonderful place that exceeded anything I could have imagined! We are from Chandler AZ and we wanted to go to the Verde Canyon Railroad train ride, so I did tons of research and phone calls and searching the web...I have NEVER stayed at a B & B before, but my boyfriends Mom was visiting us for Thanksgiving... We are thrilled to hear that we exceeded your expectation as that is our main goal when we have guests step though our gates and into our B&B. You are very correct in saying that one night is definitely NOT enough! Guests who stay with us for 5 nights even say that they should have stayed longer; we agree!!! It... More

Our first experience with a B&B was a great one, thanks to the staff at Desert Rose. As we planned our trip (our destination was Verde Canyon Railroad), the staff kept in constant communications with us - sending us pictures of the very room we were going to be staying in, working out details of the railroad trip and answering... We love having first time B&B guests and it always fills us with joy when we are able to convert them into B&B lovers! We do try to respond to all our emails and phone calls in the most timely manner, thanks for recognizing that. Our B&B is located in a typical rural Arizona neighborhood which is extremely central to... More

We recently stayed three nights at the Desert Rose B&B in Cottonwood and found it very much to our liking. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The rural setting was quiet and easy to find, close to Sedona, Jerome and other area attractions. Betty and Sebastien were very accomodating, readily available and attentive to our needs all the... This was my very first time staying at a B&B - as I am a hotel junky! Big beds, comfy pillows, room service - love them! However, I had always been very curious about b&b's - would I have to share a bathroom with other people, would I be locked out if I stayed out late, what if the breakfast... More

We are always thrilled to have the opportunity to convert a "Hotel Junkie" into a B&B lover! We do have big comfy beds and plush pillows, but sorry, no room service.
