We came to cottonwood on a fishing trip and ended up staying for 5 days. The orginial trip was only for 2 days but the wife loved the "mini suite" so we stayed longer. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with places to see and eat. I would have gave the motel a rating of 5 but they do not... More

I stayed here last month with a friend who was visiting from the Northeast. Our rooms were immaculate, quiet and affordable. The owner was most helpful and provided great suggestions for restaurants, wine-tastings, and other activities. The Pines Motel is centrally located and a convenient starting point for day trips to Sedona (only 15 to 20 miles away), Prescott, Jerome,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, and were very pleased with the experience. We had a "mini suite" with a kitchenette, which included a fridge, microwave, stove, sink, and table. The furnishings and linens were surprisingly good quality - more than you would expect from most "motels". People at the front desk were very friendly, and were very welcoming of... More

We have stayed at the Pines several times while visiting family in Cottonwood. It's a very clean, comfortable and well run motel - we particularly appreciated the very comfortable king size beds with a down comforter. For our purposes it's very convenient to family, restaurants (particularly the old town area), Jerome and Sedona. It's great to be able to support... More

My husband and I just wanted a simple and relatively inexpensive place to stay en route from theGrand Canyon back to Phoenix. The Pines had great reviews and seemed to fit the bill. We were not disappointed. The manager was friendly and suggested some places to eat dinner. The room was clean, quite, and quite comfortable. Even had a small... More

This is an amazing find for a small town hotel. Very updated, clean, WIDE parking spaces, did I mention CLEAN? What more could be said? The hotel is located near a few "chain" restaurants, and probably 3 miles from the old downtown area of cottonwood, where the fun is! You can have a picnic there at the hotel too, picnic... More

I came up for the train ride--Centennial of the VCRR and Arizona Statehood on the same weekend. Checking in a little early on Sunday was no problem. Getting my keycard back when I realized I'd left something behind on Tuesday morning was no problem either. In between I was situated in a clean, comfortable room that bordered on being a... More

I stayed here off season so my rate may be better than average, but I would have paid more! For the price of a dime store value chain motel you get a large room you actually want to spend time in. More

We only spent 1 night at the pines but the room was very clean the bed was comfortable and the motel is located close to old town Cottonwood which is nice to stroll the quaint shops for a few hours. Had a wonderful breakfast at the Red Rooster cafe in old town Cottonwood. More
