This hotel was our first stop on a tour of South Africa. Free shuttle to nearby shopping mall - useful for getting to an ATM. Very well appointed room. Excellent bed, mattress, pillows and linen. Just what you need after a long overnight flight. Wonderful buffet breakfast.

For those of you that know Sandton the address is somewhat misleading - this is not central Sandton and is a good 20 minutes by car (much longer in the rush hour) towards the airport (another 20 minutes by car). Stayed one night while attending function nearby and did not want to drive. Hotel was very good. Check-in was pleasant and efficient. Room was big with bath and shower. Everything clean and beds comfortable. Lovely big gardens to relax in. Breakfast was good. The usual large buffet catered for all tastes.

Indaba is a chalet type hotel with a set of low rise hotel rooms. The rooms are spread out over a large land plot and be prepared to walk a bit to get to the hotel room. We were travelling with Riviera tour of South Africa, this hotel was first stop off. Rooms ok, free wi fi. Pretty gardens. Bird life inc peacocks. Not warm enough for swimming but there were 2 pools and extensive gardens. Would reccommend.

Great for people who want to spend the evening in the hotel. The restaurant (chef Boma) on the premisses offers good food. The gym equipment definitely remebers better times. Breakfast is great! In my opinion this is a perfect hotels for people wishing to relax before departing from Johannesburg.

Rooms are spread out thus if you not in the mood to walk then request they take you to your room by 'go kart' but then you wont see the beautiful scenery surrounding you.
