Great accommodation, great owners, lovely gardens, pool and rooms! Within walking distance of Hospitals makes this lodge both convenient and pleasant for family of patients to hospitals, as well as within easy reach of banks, shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. A lodge to be recommended!

The lodge is very neat and clean the owners are friendly and so welcoming. They make you to feel at home from the moment you arrive till departure. Its next to everything. Very dissapointed about a few things. Firstly I have booked 4 rooms paid and confirmed 3 times but apparently charged for only 3, and when we got there was presented with another bill for the fourth room. The Ridgeview Lodge is a superb place to stay in Durban. The hotel is lovely, the breakfast is excellent and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The location is very good as we hired a car to get around. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It has a great atmosphere, the facilities are superb and Gary and Tosca are great hosts. The breakfast was excellent! It is very conveniently located for the Entebeni Life Hospital and only a few minutes to Downtown Durban, whilst being in a very pleasant part of the city. Recommended.

This is not only a great guest house, with an amazing view over the city and the harbour, but here you'll find Tosca and Gary who were FANTASTIC!!! I simply loved them: so relaxed and helpful. The service was friendly and welcoming. My room was spotless, comfortable, spacious and had an amazing view of Durban . I enjoyed spending time on the house's veranda while unwinding from the days work. Its easily accessible from the highway and is situated just outside the city centre. Overall, it was a great place to stay during my business trip.
