I wish we could have stayed longer in Palms Wilderness, the rooms and hotel were of a very high standard, comfortable and well equiped (without a TV in the room but available in the very comfortable lounge). The staff and management were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was individualy prepared and of a very high standard. Parking was safe and... More

This was our first stop along the garden route and, unfortunately, it was only a 2 night stop. The accommodation was very beautiful, clean and spacious, and the surroundings were peaceful, tranquil and perfect if you just want to chill out. The manager and his wife was most welcoming and more than happy to help us with suggestions of where... More

The rooms have poor light, we were a group and it was difficult to shave or make up. Good for you if you dont like tv, there is only a big tv in the lounge. The rooms were very clean. The parking is outside the hotel. More

We stayed at Palms Wilderness whilst on our honeymoon in March this year and wished we could stay for more than the one night that we were booked for. The guest house is well appointed and the surroundings are tranquil and relaxing. Our host (sorry we forget his name) was very friendly and happy to give us advice on where... More

We first came here in 2010 and loved the place - excellent dining and great hosts, Wayne and Vicky. Big change. They no longer have restaurant facilities, nor Wayne and Vicky who we have been advised are now on the Zambezi Queen, so for us the buzz of the place has gone. The accommodation was as good as ever and... More

Great location to stop and stay for the night on the Garden Route, the location of the hotel is beautiful, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are top quality and a very African cosy feel to them. Other than the hotel there was nothing to stop in wilderness for, the town centre was a few minutes walk... More

And houses almost perched on the edges. Pool small but did not use. Central area lounge African round... More

We stayed here this week and culd not wait to leave. Bit dark and damp. Depends on what u want I suppose, we were on honeymoon and this is not a honeymoon location, for us anyway. If people sitting around drinking cans and ants in ur room is ur thing, then go for it. Wilderness town is a non event... More

We stayed in Palms Wilderness as part of our trip along the Garden Route. We booked this hotel due to it looking a bit different from the norm. The welcome from the manager was extremely warm and welcoming. The room had everything we needed and the thatched roof gave the room a cosy feel. The only slight let-down was the... More

Very pleasant room, nice welcome from the helpful staff and a perfectly adequate, if relatively unexceptional breakfast. However, this part of Wilderness is a strange place, over shadowed by the N2 (which brings some traffic noise to the rooms) and spoilt by poorly planned developments (which for example has destroyed the estate that this property once owned). My honest advice... More
