This was our 5th visit! Gave it a lot of thought on whether we should be going back to the same place but decided on Hamilton's anyway. Good decision. It is just such a great lodge. The tents/suites are excellent with everything one could ask for without losing the " bush " feeling. The outdoor showers afford you the best... More

We arrived (our 6th visit) just after they opened again after the fllods in January. We were greeted like long lost family. The rooms are stunning, the food was great, you are always made to feel welcome, from Ronnie's terrible Jokes, to the interesting stories of the Shangaana way of life. Our guide, Joe, was very knoledgable and did a... More

We stayed here for 3 amazing nights. Sometimes you forget you are in the Bush with the amazing food and drink on offer. Staff cannot do enough for you and we loved Ronny`s stories. Jo was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable on all the animals. We were lucky enough to see the big 5 in one game drive, which... More

Stayed 3 nights in a beautiful tented cabin. Huge bed, private balcony with views of critters and birds, and only animal/bird noises. If anything, it's too luxurious for such a location in the middle of wild country. Elevated walkways to main dining/reception area and tiny pool, and taboo to walk them solo at night due to potential big animal encounters.... More

I so wanted Hamilton, but no room in the inn. Decided to stay at Main Jock, I was not disappointed. The luxury cabins, have a private swimming pool on your private balcony overlooking the river basin, where animals cross all the time. You can sit on your balcony and observe elephants, wildebeest and all the great animals of Africa. The... More

First of all, İ'm 32 years old and beeıng so lucky, so blessed to see Africa and National Kruger Park for the first time in my life... But this place with its soul, it's class and its style definitely might be the right place to take you in and make you fall in love with itself... As an advantage it's... More

This is a very high end camp inside the Kruger. There are only six rooms, all of which are facing a small stream where often animals come to drink or swim. The meals are delicious and plentiful. The game view is quite exclusive, since you are taken to an area within the Park that only guests of the Hamilton have... More

We loved this place and would love to go back. When we arrived, they took our car and parked it for us, and gave us fresh towels and iced tea. We had time to ourselves before going on a three hour game drive including a drink stop. When we got back we were served a lovely three course dinner at... More

I have seen couple of lodges during my several stays in South Africa, but Hamiltons is a special kind of it. Quite small with only 6 villas/tents it was the perfect spot for our group of friends to stay. The interior really reminds of the good old times where travelling was a much bigger adventure than today. Beside the authentic... More

Supreme luxury! When we arrived , we were greeted by singing staff, warmly welcomed with a scented cloth to wipe the dust and homemade ice tea. The tented camp has only six tents, and is located on a busy river bed. You could do game viewing without leaving your chair. The service is great, attention to detail excellent and the... More
