My boyfriend and I stayed only 1 night at Berg en dal camp - it was great! More modern than the other camps! Wished we stayed more nights. Loved our spot and the whole camp - we could hear the elephants close by. We did a night walk around the camp which was awesome. Kitchen was great with everything working... More

Great camp. It is further in the south so location is less ideal than some, but very quiet and bungalows are far more private than those of bigger camps. All clean, tidy and well equipped.. More

Berg-En-Dal was our first stop on our week trip in the Kruger National Park. We had a family room which was comfortable with a well equiped kitchen and a clean terrace area where you can do a barbeque or 'braai'. The shop was great and well stocked and we did all our shopping in there for supplies. The Tree Restaurant... More

We arrived in Berg-en-Dal at night and the first thing to know is : DO NOT arrive at night, there are no lights to indicates the path to your house. The housing is really nice with a great shower, bathroom and toilets in three differents room. The terrace is also really nice with a great barbecue to cook you own... More

A short trip from East Rand (Approximately 4 hours). Close proximity to the Malelane Gate. What a peaceful atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bungalows are cleverly built in such a way that you don't really see your neighbours. Comfortable & clean bungalow with aircon. Lots of elephants and rhino can be encountered close to the camp. Will definitely return... More

We stayed at Berg-en-dal, on our first stay in the park with our small children. (We were regular bush babies before we had kids.) Our bungalow was very comfortable, with a view into the bush, and had the basics. Aircon was a plus in the heat. The swimming pool at Berg-en-dal is great, and is really kid friendly. The shop... Stayed in Bungalow (BA3U) even though only 2 of us. No a/c but so much better than Satara. Staff more pleasant too. The kitchen is inside which is also better than Satara. Restaurant (lovely place to sit) ok for breakfast after early morning self-drive safari. Not sure about early trip out - no better than other times really. More

This was the second of the rest camps that we stayed in at the Kruger. As usual staff at the reception did not have the best service skills, chatting to each other and texting on their mobile phones whilst attending to your booking. Did consider asking did they win their camp of the year award for customer service ! Camp... More

Berg-en-Dal is a great rest camp. Don't get me wrong. We saw all of the big 5 within 3 days and all around the rest camp itself. The game outside the camp gate were amazing and an abundance of them too. The cottages were OK but don't expect it to be 5 star. the cottages are a bit tired. we... More
