I knew it would be basic, and it was very, very, basic indeed... and quite dilapidated. A perfect place if you have to wake up very early for the morning game drive! There is a restaurant with a view, unfortunately with bad food & bad service. A good point would be the friendly and helpful staff at reception.

Stayed 5 nights in a river facing luxury tent. Hippos,croc's,buffalo,elephant,waterbuck,baboon all viewed from out tent deck. We stayed in a perimeter safari tent (#16) and it was really the location that made the experience. We were overlooking the river and fell asleep listening to the hippos. The tent was good value, basic accommodation, but could use updating (fresh paint, new fixtures, etc.). Would be ideal for self-catering / braai (porch is fully equipped).
