For R600 per night i have to say I expected more. The place did not smell good and it was in an overall bad state, thin towels, TV did not work, the stove comes out of Noah's ark. The view however is great it is conveniently located. Sorting out the free parking is such an issue!

This is the fourth time that I have stayed at the Gardens Centre. The manageress, Ellen, is very friendly and helpful. The apartments are showing their age a bit but are quite spacious and comfortable. The location, above a small shopping centre not far from the city centre, is excellent and the views from the apartments are spectacular.

The location of the apartment complex is very nice but the facility itself has started to come somewhat dilapidated. The exteriors of the rooms had chipping paint, as did the insides. Nice rooms, well equipped kitchenette, plenty of storage space, good sized bathroom, queen sized bed. Very convenient have services such as food store (PicnPay), internet cafe and banks within the mall on first two floors. The rooms are spacious and even though the furniture and design are a little old-fashioned, it is great for a long weekend in Cape Town. The city centre and several sights are within walking distance and you can get a delicious breakfast in the mall before exploring the city.
