Taj Cape Town is a nice hotel. I stayed two nights at the Taj in April 2012. The Taj is located on Wale Street, in the city center. The hotel is at the former location of the South African reserve bank. The Taj is very close to Long Street, which is where a lot of the good restaurants are located.... More

The Taj Cape Town defines service and comfort. We stayed here after disembarking the luxury Silversea ship "Silver Whisper" where every whim was catered to. Well, the Taj is VERY similar in style to a Silversea ship. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the restaurant/bar was great. I'd happily return to the Taj Cape Town. More

The Taj is all about impeccable service, superb amenities, beautiful rooms with fantastic views of Table mountain and Lions Head,great food, good bars and restaurants, tremendous pool, perfect location in the centre of Cape town. The Taj Hotel did not disappoint. Our rooms were as expected, large/luxurious with a magnificent bathroom (massive tub, huge shower, twin basins etc.) together with views of Table Mountain.
