“Dont believe the web sight”

We booked 2 nights and only stayed one. Room was very small and needed renovating. We had ants in our bed and lots of mosquitos all night. Host was not helpful the next morning. Old tv absolutely nothing special about this place. Furniture and bathroom need replacing. Angelique very pleasant but our experience was really bad, not worth the price... More

“Not so good as expected”

We were really enthusiastic about this guesthouse but it was a bit of a let down. Location is 3 km of hermanus, nothing to do in the vicinity. Host was not very friendly when help was requested. room was ok, but nothing special. Room also rather small. For this money there are better guesthouses out there. Would not choose it... More

“Nothing Amazing”

We booked one night in early April 2012 at the Sandbaai Country House, while the outside of the building looks great, the rooms are a little tired, with the smallest tv I have ever seen in the bedroom. On route from Cape Town to a safari , we decided to stay overnight in Hermanus and we made a booking online for the Sandbaai. When we arrived. 1) We were disappointed. “My experience of recent stay at Sandbaai Country Lodge”

I recently stayed at SCL from 2-5 April 2012.I had a lovely big room with a well equipped bathroom and lovely sea-view.It was very reasonably priced and the service was excellent as well as the breakfast.I can recommend this B&B and will go again
